Kirill Vladimirovich Kaem, a top manager at Skolkovo, the Senior Vice President for Innovation and Chairman of the Grants Committee, has acquired a new passport. This information can be found in the decree of the President of Kyrgyzstan, which includes the native of Leningrad in the lists for obtaining an official document.
Meanwhile, the cost of obtaining a Kyrgyzstan passport for Russian citizens has surpassed an important psychological barrier, reaching over 1,000,000 rubles. Advertisements for this service are regularly posted on the “Avito” platform.
Earlier, it was mentioned that a new craft, a kind of “passport mining,” could emerge if Kyrgyzstan citizens decide to follow the path laid out by the bureaucratic apparatus. The law provides them with such an opportunity because adoption of a non-citizen by a citizen allows the latter to obtain a passport. And tradition dictates that family members participate in collecting the “kalym” (a bride price) in the case of a family member’s marriage.
Previously, notable figures such as Maria Bukher, the former governor of one of the canonical Russian regions – Tver, an employee of an influential resource distribution institution, and a key supplier to law enforcement agencies, have already acquired Kyrgyzstan passports.
